Job summary

Mid Valley Hospital in Washington seeks an experienced Emergency Medicine physician to join our ED team. The provider delivers urgent care within the scope of their specialty, adheres to hospital policies and laws, and communicates professionally with staff, patients and families.

Required: MD or DO licensed in Washington, unrestrained DEA, board certified/eligible in EM or board certified/eligible in FM/IM with >2 years ED experience; current BLS/ACLS/PALS/ATLS.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Washington as a physician.
• Board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine or Board certified/eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with ED experience.
• Maintains BLS, ACLS, PALS and ATLS certifications.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities for team coordination.
• Ability to work with diverse patients and staff in high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide ED services within the scope of practice and hospital policies.
• Adhere to treatment, procedure, and medication guidelines; maintain confidentiality.
