PhysicianCareerJobs is seeking a Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage in North Carolina, working on-site in an emergency department. Shifts include both nights (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) and days (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) with no ICU duties, in a 21-bed hospital setting.

Candidates must have ED inpatient experience in the last 12 months, BLS/ACLS/PALS/APLS, NC DEA, board certification, and prescriptive authority. EPIC EMR proficiency and codes response are required.

Formación

• ED inpatient experience within last 12 months.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS/APLS certifications required.
• NC DEA license and board certification required; prescriptive authority.
• On-site ED coverage for night and day shifts.
• No ICU or critical care duties.

Responsabilidades

• Provide inpatient locum tenens coverage during night and day shifts.
• Manage acute medical-surgical inpatient cases with census around 20.
• Respond to codes; coordinate specialty consultations (surgery, orthopedics, cardiology, telestroke).
• Document all care in EPIC EMR.
• Coordinate air/ground transfer when needed.
