Job summary

Norman Regional Health System in Colorado is seeking a licensed pharmacist to support clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensure safe, cost-effective therapies, and participate in clinical programs that promote positive patient outcomes across age groups.

The role includes processing orders and dispensing per policies, maintaining preceptor licensure, and contributing to education and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Experience: PGY1 residency preferred but not required.
• Hospital-based clinical experience preferred.
• Licensed pharmacist in good standing (OK State Board) and preceptor license.
• Board certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participate in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Administer ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety and outcomes.
