Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to support clinical and distributive pharmacy services in a hospital setting. The role emphasizes safe, cost-effective therapies and collaboration to improve patient outcomes through established policies and regulatory compliance.

The position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, with compensation up to $81.87/hr. Requires PharmD/BS in Pharmacy and active licensure; PGY1 residency is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in good standing with the state board.
• Preferred completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, not required.
• Experience in hospital clinical pharmacy preferred.
• Maintain preceptor license and pursue board certification if possible.

Responsibilities

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements; manage accreditation reporting.

• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes to promote patient safety and outcomes.
