Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a pharmacist to provide comprehensive clinical and distributive pharmacy services. The role includes ensuring safe, cost-effective therapies and supporting program development across patient care areas.

Required licensure with the OK State Board of Pharmacy; preceptor license and residency preceptorship are emphasized. Competitive compensation with shift differentials and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Preferred ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or equivalent used to be preferred but not required.
Preferred hospital pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
Process orders and dispense medications according to policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
