Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a clinical pharmacist to support comprehensive pharmacy services and ensure optimal patient care daily. You will help develop, implement, and maintain clinical and distributive processes and programs that promote safe, cost-effective drug therapies for all ages.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Experience: ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred but not required.
• Hospitals: Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Licensure: Active pharmacist license in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Preceptor license: Maintain preceptor license with the OK State Board of Pharmacy on hire.
• Residency preceptorship: Achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship on hire.
• Board certification: Strongly encouraged to obtain/maintain related board certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies.
• Participate in departmental clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications per policies and regulations.
• Support accreditation reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to educational goals of the department.
• Improve pharmacy processes to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
