Job summary

Norman Regional Health System in the United States seeks a licensed pharmacist to join our hospital-based pharmacy team, delivering clinical and distributive services and ensuring safe, cost-effective therapies for all patients.

You will process orders, dispense medications per policies, participate in targeted clinical programs, and support accreditation and regulatory reporting. A $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Current licensure as a pharmacist in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire encouraged.
• Board-certification in related practice area encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participate in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
