Norman Regional Health System is seeking a hospital clinical pharmacist to support both clinical and distributive pharmacy services, ensuring optimal pharmacotherapy for all patients daily. You will contribute to program development, maintain regulatory requirements, and participate in education for staff and students.

The role emphasizes safe, cost-effective drug therapies across all age groups and supports ongoing improvements in patient outcomes. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Experience: Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required.
• Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
• Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
• Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area.

Responsibilities

• Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned.
• Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies.
• Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients.
• Contribute to the educational goals of the department.
• Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
