Job summary
First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for Per Diem hospital opportunities. Choose shifts that fit your availability while working with a local staffing team that provides competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and support from the team.
Your schedule is your own, with options for evening and night shifts, a rapid-pay card, and daily or weekly pay.
Qualifications
- Active RN license required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.
- Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting
- Triage and prioritize patient needs
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
- Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Respond to emergency and critical-care situations
- Complete required assessments and documentation
- Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements
