Rochester Regional Health's Unity Hospital in Rochester, NY seeks a Patient Care Technician for the Emergency Department. This part-time role supports direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, with a rotating schedule including days, evenings, nights and every other weekend.

The ideal candidate has prior PCT experience, is at least 18, and may hold an Associates degree, CNA, or Nursing Fundamentals.

Associates degree; CNA certification or Nursing Fundamentals preferred.

Mansioni

Performs cleaning of appropriate equipment, changing of bed linens, stocks appropriate supplies in the patient room/unit, and prepares rooms for anticipated admissions.
Provide safe and competent care for patients with relationship to nutritional, skin integrity, elimination & hygiene needs including bathing, grooming, and patient comfort measures.
Performs a wide variety of clinical duties under the direction/supervision of an RN including vitals, EKG, one to one and admission/discharge processes.
Assist with safe ambulation, transferring, and appropriate use of lift devices; respond to patient call lights and family requests.
