Job summary

Saint Luke's Health System in Kansas is seeking an ED Technician to provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency department. Under RN supervision, you will assist with bathing, hygiene, nutrition, toileting, and mobility, while supporting safety and patient satisfaction.

Six months experience as ED Technician or EMT is preferred; less than 1 year experience acceptable with nursing support training. Certification options available through SLHS during hire.

Qualifications

• Direct and indirect patient care in the ED setting.
• Under RN supervision and direction.
• Nursing credentials or EMT background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bathing, hygiene, toileting assistance.

• Ambulation and positioning of patients.
• Regular patient rounds to monitor safety and satisfaction.
