• Performs treatments according to policy and procedure, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.
• Controls in clinical emergencies as needed.
• Supports quality standards and performance improvement initiatives.
• Follows isolation guidelines and safety regulations.
• Maintains skills through continuous learning and training.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Keeps environment clean and safe for patients and staff.
• Assists in patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Documents procedures per department policy.
• Obtains nursing history and reports abnormalities to the nurse.
• Identifies patient needs and assists as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
