Job summary

Medical City Plano, part of HCA Healthcare, is hiring an Emergency Room Paramedic PRN to provide direct patient care under RN supervision. Shifts offered are 3p-3a or 7p-7a, with required certification updates within 30 days of start date and at least 1 year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certifications required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Paramedic EMT-P/EMP certification required.
• 1+ year acute care hospital experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care as assigned by the RN.
• Reports observations and patient needs to the appropriate person.
• Maintains cleanliness, stocking, and organization of storage areas.
• Documents data concisely and timely.
• Responds to emergency procedures as needed.
