Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland in Texas City seeks an experienced ER Paramedic for PRN coverage. You will collect patient information, relay details to the care team and physician, and contribute to continuous improvement and patient safety.

The role requires Paramedic certification, BCLS and crisis intervention within 30 days, with no travel and at least 1 year EMS experience. You will work under the Director of Emergency Services and support a broad care team.

Qualifications

• Paramedic with current state licensure.
• BCLS and crisis intervention certifications required within 30 days of start date.
• Minimum 1 year EMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect and convey patient information to team members and attending physician.
• Document and communicate using SBAR; ensure patient safety.
• Attend meetings and in-services; support facility core values.
• Maintain equipment and assist with routine tasks as required.
