Job summary

Bon Secours in Virginia is seeking a Manager Nursing at Harbour View Medical Center to lead daily operational oversight, mentor staff, and coordinate clinical activities across units to improve patient outcomes.

You will drive high reliability, meet department productivity targets, implement strategic initiatives, and uphold the Nursing Professional Practice Model while partnering with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required
Current RN license in state or compact
Minimum 3 years of professional nursing with leadership experience
MSN or Health Administration degree preferred
BLS certification preferred or required on hire depending on unit
1 year experience in the appropriate specialty preferred

Responsibilities

Provides daily operational oversight, management, and clinical support to the health care team
Serves as a professional role model, mentor, and clinical resource
