Job summary

CHI St Vincent, now part of CommonSpirit Health, seeks an ER Nurse to be the first touchpoint for patients during health emergencies. You will triage, stabilize, and provide compassionate care with a focus on patient dignity and outcomes.

Join a collaborative ED team performing IV starts, Foley, and assisting with chest tube insertions. Earn a sign-on bonus up to $25,000, plus relocation assistance and pathway options through our clinical ladder.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse: AR upon hire
• Basic Life Support CPR within 30 days
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 12 months
• 6 months of acute experience as a registered nurse upon hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support upon hire

Responsibilities

• Use emergency triage protocol to intake, discharge or admit patients.
• Deliver stabilizing care to emergency patients of all ages as part of the ED team.
• Document the nursing care plan and changes in the patient's condition with attention to cultural values.
• Engage in activities that benefit patient outcomes, such as patient experience initiatives and mentoring.
