Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room (RN-ER) on-site in Peridot, AZ. This 13-week contract offers a competitive base salary and opportunities to work with a dedicated ER team.

You will assess patients, triage, administer medications, and document care in the EHR while ensuring infection control and regulatory compliance. Mentorship of junior staff and collaboration with physicians are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

Current RN license and valid Emergency Room nursing certification.
Minimum 2-3 years ER or acute care experience in high-volume settings.
Advanced triage skills with ability to prioritize rapidly under pressure.
Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in the ER.
Assess patient conditions, triage effectively, and prioritize care delivery.
Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions per protocols.
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Generate and act on performance metrics and care outcomes to meet department targets.
Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses in electronic health records.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
Mentor and support junior staff and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
Engage with patients and families to provide clear information and compassionate care.
