Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Tennessee is seeking a PRN Night Nurse responsible for planning, organizing, and administering patient care within the scope of their training, collaborating with other professionals to ensure quality outcomes. This role aligns with the hospital's Nursing Practice Act and organizational policies.

You will work 7 PM to 7 AM, with one major and one minor holiday required, and join a team dedicated to compassionate, high-quality care across our eight hospitals and 180 clinics.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program and TN RN license.
• 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
• Ability to work PRN night shifts and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care across the care continuum.
• Analyzes patient information to determine nursing diagnoses.
• Uses the nursing process to evaluate progress and adjust care.
• Promotes health and maintains a safe patient environment.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
