Job summary

Mercy Hospital Edmond is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The nurse will apply the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, coordinate with multiple departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality in line with Mercy standards.

Responsibilities include ongoing assessment, care planning, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safe and effective treatments for all patients, while complying with policy and mission values.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Active RN license in hiring state or compact license.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Physical requirements: ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and teams.
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality of information.
