Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team at Baptist Emergency at St. Augustine in St. Augustine, FL. This is a part-time night shift opportunity. The role focuses on high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of Medical-Surgical Nursing experience, telemetry expertise, and RN licensure in Florida, with BLS required and ACLS/CEN/TNCC/ NIHSS preferred.

Qualifications

• RN required with an Associate of Science in Nursing.
• Licensed RN in the state of Florida.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred; CEN/TNCC/NIHSS preferred.
• 1–2 years medical-surgical nursing experience; telemetry experience; ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients with emergent conditions.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate care with ancillary services to support optimal outcomes.
• Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring safety and satisfaction.
• Participate in unit-based initiatives and quality improvement.
