Job summary

Trinity Health MercyOne Genesis Silvis Medical Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Silvis, Illinois. The role covers 12-hour night shifts (1800-0630) with three shifts per week, every other weekend, and holiday rotation.

The ED team delivers rapid triage, lifesaving interventions, and continuous patient monitoring. Minimum qualifications include an Associate degree in nursing and an Iowa/Illinois RN license; BLS and ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Iowa or Illinois RN license is required at time of hire; may need license in both states within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid and comprehensive assessments on arrival.
• Develop and implement emergency care plans; initiate rapid response when needed.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders and protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care accordingly; document all assessments and outcomes.
• Communicate critical information to physicians and care teams; participate in handoffs and huddles.
