Job summary

Blue Ridge Regional Hospital in Spruce Pine, North Carolina seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to lead the delivery of high‑quality nursing care during shifts. You will coordinate patient assessment, planning, and interventions with a multidisciplinary ED team.

The role requires an Associate's or BSN in Nursing, NC RN licensure (eNLC may apply) with licensure completed within 30 days, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of ER experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree or BSN in Nursing.
• License: RN license to practice in North Carolina (NCBON); eNLC may apply; license must be obtained within 30 days of employment start.
• Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supports delivery of professional nursing care per nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and teaching; delegate as appropriate.
• Collaborate with ED team to stabilize and treat acute injuries and illnesses.
