Job summary

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessment, triage, and emergency interventions.
• Provide emergency nursing care to patients from neonates to geriatrics.
• Initiate IV access and perform phlebotomy procedures.
• Administer blood products, IV meds, and emergency therapies.
• Manage central lines and monitor critically ill patients.
• Interpret and manage cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias.
• Monitor patients undergoing procedural sedation and emergency procedures.
• Care for patients requiring ventilators and advanced respiratory support.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, radiology and multidisciplinary teams.
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR.
• Participate in emergency response, code blue and rapid interventions.
