Qualifications

• 6 (six) months recent (within the last 5 years) full-time equivalent in ED or Critical Care, or successful completion of a Kaiser Permanente ED training program or approved equivalent within prior 12 months.
• RN license must be obtained within 3 months of hire and Kaiser Permanente Nursing Orientation Program must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Develops and contributes to individualized care plans reflecting assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating outcomes.
• Ensures patient safety, discharge planning, and education, in accordance with standards and policies.
