Job summary

Ochsner Health seeks an experienced nurse leader to direct patient care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act. You will delegate and guide licensed and ancillary team members, ensuring quality outcomes while respecting diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in the state of practice is required.
• BLS certification required; CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications within stated timeframes are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and families.
• Delegate and manage nursing team resources within the interdisciplinary team.
