Job summary

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Main ER. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team within the emergency department.

You will assess pain, perform procedures, educate patients and families, and support discharge planning while upholding the hospital's standards of practice and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in Florida.
• ACLS and BLS certifications obtained or planned within specified timelines.
• TNCC, ENPC or PALS certifications within 6 months of start.
• One year of emergency/acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patient pain and provide timely reassessments.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, plan of care, and follow-up.
• Assist with discharge planning and promote self-management education.
