Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within the department.

You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team to follow established nursing models and promote optimal outcomes across the patient journey. You will educate patients and families about their condition, treatment plan, and follow-up measures while supporting timely documentation and proactive patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour within 1 year of employment start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 60 days of employment start date.
• RN: Registered Nurse.
• BCLS or Instructor within 30 days of employment start date.
• ACLS or Instructor within 90 days of employment start date.
• TNCC or related Instructor within 1 year of employment start date.
• Associate or Bachelor degree required.
• 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per department requirements.
• Collaborate with medical providers and care team using established nursing models.
• Advocate for patients/families and support clinical outcomes and departmental performance.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up care.
• Assist with lifestyle guidance and self-management education for patients.
