Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse who will independently perform direct patient care. You will use the nursing process to deliver developmentally appropriate care and collaborate with other health care professionals to meet patient and family needs.

Qualifications include Texas RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC, CPI within 6 months, strong English communication, basic computer skills, and EKG interpretation abilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; current Texas RN license.
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications required or must be obtained.
• CPI certification within 6 months of hire.
• English communication skills required; additional languages preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge; able to interpret EKG.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop care plans.
• Document patient encounters accurately and maintain PHI security.
• Deliver care with sound clinical judgement and evidence-based practice.
• Lead or assist in coordination of patient care plan and outcomes.
