Job summary

Minden Medical Center in Louisiana is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department, scheduled 7AM-7PM with rotating weekends. You will help deliver safe, timely care for patients of all ages when minutes matter.

Key responsibilities include rapid assessment and triage support, bedside nursing care, medication administration, documentation, patient/family communication, and collaboration with physicians and the ED care team.

Qualifications

• Louisiana or multistate RN license.
• AHA BLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and De‑Escalation/Crisis Intervention required by end of orientation.
• ENPC required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid assessment and triage support.
• Provide bedside nursing care to ED patients.
• Administer medications per orders.
• Document care accurately in patient chart.
• Communicate with patients, families, and ED team.
• Collaborate with physicians and ED care team.
