Job summary

AdventHealth in Davenport, FL is seeking an experienced RN to join our critical care team. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, and educate families while collaborating with treating clinicians.

Qualifications

Critical care nursing experience in ED/ICU.
Excellent organization and communication skills.
English fluency in speaking and writing.
Ability to lead and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and gather data on health status.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments and diagnoses.
Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed.
Monitor and adjust care plans based on patient responses.
Educate patients and families about conditions and self-care.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
Document care activities in the EMR accurately and timely.
Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
Support quality improvement initiatives and patient outcomes.
Supervise nursing staff and provide guidance.
Maintain safe, clean environments following infection control.
