Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Henrico Doctors Hospital Forest Campus in Richmond, VA. This 13-week contract role requires a 12-hour day shift (07:00–19:00) and a commitment of 36 hours per week with every other weekend.

You will monitor and treat patients, administer medications, document care in MediTech Expanse, and collaborate with unit staff in a 25-bed ED operating with a 4:1 (rising to 5:1) patient ratio during surges.

Qualifications

• Emergency Department competencies and experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions using GE monitors and Zoll travel monitors.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed, utilizing Baxter pumps.
• Document all patient care activities in MediTech Expanse.
• Provide support and assistance to unit secretaries and patient care technicians when staffing allows.
• Build personal connections with patients to enhance their experience and ensure effective communication.
