Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in Oregon to assess, plan, and coordinate care for hospital patients, including discharge planning and interdisciplinary collaboration. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Oregon RN license.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within 6 months of hire OR PALS within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-system assessments and discharge planning.
• Develop and coordinate nursing care plan and teaching plan.
• Implement care per physician plan and hospital protocol.
• Accurately document in EMR and ensure timely medication administration.
• Participate in unit quality assurance activities.
