Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Michigan.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC and NRP required within 12 months of hire.
• EPIC experience preferred; telemetry experience preferred.
• Graduate of school of Nursing; committed to ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and diagnoses patient and family needs to provide quality care.
• Develops, discusses, and communicates a realistic plan of care with patient/family.
• Implements the medical plan of care, nursing interventions, and procedures.
• Evaluates problems and patient responses; reassesses to meet needs.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation for the health care team.
• Functions as a role model for current and new staff.
• Performs ED duties to address the unique needs of each patient.
