Job summary

Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Kentucky is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse to monitor patient conditions, coordinate care with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and deliver compassionate, evidence-based treatment.

The role requires current RN licensure, BLS, ACLS/PALS within 12 months, CPI within six months, and at least one year of ER experience. You will perform assessments, administer medications, document care, and support families.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure by KY Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS and PALS within 1 year of employment.
• CPI certification within 6 months of employment.
• 1 year ER RN experience required for part-time roles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions with detailed records.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient condition.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development, assessment, and care for patients of various ages.
• Promote hospital customer service initiatives.
• Utilize the nursing process for individualized patient care.
• Perform technical skills and procedures as required.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Registered nursesprovideand coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurseis responsible forcollaborating withphysicians and multidisciplinary team members toprovidephysical and psychological support to patients and their families.

Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limitedtoassessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance of equipment, and communication of patient needs.
