Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Night Shift ER Registered Nurse for a full-time position. You will provide professional nursing care in the emergency department and may serve as Charge Nurse, with responsibilities for patient safety and staff coordination.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing and a NM nursing license (or compact license within 90 days), plus BLS (ACLS/PALS may be required).

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing is required.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required by the department.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, to include patient care and staff management assigned to the RN in charge.
• May serve in the role of Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
