Job summary

Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH, is seeking a Registered Nurse RN for the Nashua Freestanding ED. The role supports patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting with nights 7PM–7AM and rotating weekends.

The RN coordinates care with providers and care team, applying established nursing models to improve outcomes and patient experience. ER experience and relevant certifications are required to begin within stated timelines.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• TNCC Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• RN: Registered Nurse license required
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or functions as ordered and document care
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs
• Teach patients, families, and caregivers about condition, plan of care, medications, and follow-up
• Educate on non-medicinal follow-up measures and self-management
