Job summary

Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, GA is hiring an Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered, high-quality care in a fast-paced ER setting. You will coordinate with physicians and care teams to assess, treat, and educate patients and families.

Responsibilities include pain assessment, documentation, prompt response to patient needs, and teaching patients about conditions and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• GA RN license active and in good standing.
• ASN or BSN degree in nursing required.
• BCLS, ACLS and PALS certifications within specified timelines.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months of employment.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered ER care.
• Assess pain and provide timely interventions and documentation.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to plan treatment and follow-up.
• Translate medical information into understandable guidance for patients.
