Job summary

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department, Night shift. You will perform comprehensive nursing care, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and educate patients and families to support informed health decisions.

Requirements include ADN with BSN preferred, VA или compact RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS or ENPC within a year, and at least 2 years of hospital experience, preferably in ED.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Virginia or compact multistate RN license in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS & PALS or ENPC within 1 year of hire.
• 2 years nursing experience in a hospital setting; ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
