Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department night shift in Everett, WA. This 13-week contract role involves working the night shift (19:00–07:30) in a free-standing ED with about 15% pediatric patients, utilizing Epic for documentation.

The RN will perform nursing and respiratory therapy roles due to limited on-site staff, with responsibilities including sedation procedures, airway management, and arterial blood gas interpretation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Travel nursing and charge experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications; Compact RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedural sedation and rapid sequence intubation (RSI).
• Manage trach care, cardio version/defibrillation, and breathing treatments.
• Provide care for vascular access devices and manage feeding tube administration.
• Utilize syringe pumps and triple lumen catheters efficiently.
• Administer medications and monitor continuous IV sedation.
• Interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias.
