Experience

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 6 months of Emergency Department experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
  
  

Requirements

Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details

ER/Med Surg

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Shift: Day/Night Rotate

Every other weekend and holiday.

Will be required to work 1 call shift every contract.

Will float between ER and Med Surg

Ratio: For Med/Surg - typically 3 to 4 to one - depending on census and acuity

Required skills and minimum years of experience: Able to function independently in the ER and function in MS unit with up to 5 patients.

6 months MS exp in the past year; 6 months ER exp in the past year.

NRP - Would be great to have on hand, can be done onsite with approval.

MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health. If clinician previously worked with Sanford, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required for submission
