You will assist in triage, diagnostics, anesthesia recovery, and client communication in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years as a veterinary assistant (required).
• Experience in a specialty and/or emergency veterinary hospital preferred.
• Strong clinical skills including IVC placement, patient monitoring, restraint, and phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Triage and intake patients, present to the emergency doctor.
• Coordinate diagnostics, lab tests, and imaging.
• Monitor patients post-anesthesia or sedation and report changes.
• Provide hands-on care for emergency/critical patients, including monitoring and CPR.
• Assist with treatments, patient handling, restraint, and transport.
• Communicate updates, care plans, and discharge instructions to clients.
• Collaborate with specialty teams for consistent patient care.
• Mentor and support junior Veterinary Assistants and Hospital Assistants.
