Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Tallahassee, Florida. The RN will collaborate with the health care team to provide patient-centered care and will take leadership roles in coordinating and delegating care across shifts.

Ideal candidates have an Associate Degree in Nursing with 3 years of Emergency Nursing experience, and a current Florida RN license along with BLS/CPR certification. Trauma experience and Epic experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• 3 years of Emergency Nursing experience.
• Trauma experience preferred.
• Current license to practice as an RN in Florida.
• BLS/CPR certification from an accredited instructor (AHA or equivalent).
• PALS, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC (certifications)
• Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assume direct and indirect responsibility for the patient's care environment.
• Collaborate with health care team members to apply the nursing process autonomously.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and role modeling for other health care team members.
• Coordinate and delegate care in a safe, secure and clean environment.
• Care provided respects patient rights, dignity, values, confidentiality and expressed needs.
• Be adaptable, using evidence-based practice and information technologies while focusing on comfort, pain relief and anxiety reduction.
