Job summary

Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs seeks aClinical Educator to advance nursing education and staff development. You will act as learning facilitator, mentor, and change agent to promote evidence-based practice and patient care excellence.

Required: BSN, CA RN license, 2 years teaching adults, 5 years clinical experience in the specialty, and current BLS/ACLS/NRP with Fetal Heart Monitoring credentials. Flexible hours and competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Current, unencumbered California RN license.
• Minimum 2 years teaching adult learners.
• Minimum 5 years recent clinical experience in the intended educator specialty.
• Demonstrated perinatal care competency.
• Computer literacy including MS Office.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Understanding of adult learning principles.
• Ability to work flexible hours (days/nights/weekends).
• BLS/ACLS/NRP/Fetal Heart Monitoring current.

Responsibilities

• Act as change agent and lead nursing staff development initiatives.
• Lead practice transitions in nursing care and education programs.
