Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing personnel and assist in interviewing applicants.
• Monitor staffing patterns and coordinate staff meetings.
• Coordinate delivery of patient care on the unit using the nursing process.
• Act as educator and resource to other health professionals on the unit.
• Support staff with problem solving and intershift communications.
• Oversee unit quality and participate in department goals.
