Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the Emergency Department in Omaha on a .9 FTE (36 hours/week) schedule. Under physician supervision, you will deliver medical care to patients and perform minor surgical procedures per privileges.

Must be a graduate of an accredited PA program with Nebraska PA license, BLS preferred, ACLS required, and PALS preferred. 2+ years APP experience and strong teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Active, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of Nebraska.
• Current BLS; ACLS required; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients under physician supervision.
• Perform minor surgical procedures according to the approved privilege list.
• Develop and communicate treatment plans to patients and families.
• Document findings and coordinate care with supervising physician.
