Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT, and ICD10 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately collect and enter patient demographics, insurance, and contact information into the EMR.
• Obtain signatures on legal and insurance consent forms and ensure documents are scanned.
• Prepare service estimates, arrange payment plans, collect upfront payments, and reconcile daily cash.
• Serve as liaison between patients, families, and staff; coordinate with Bed Control for bed placement and communicate delays.
• Escort and transport patients to designated areas and ensure timely processing from registration to room assignment.
• Monitor and resolve registration edits to maintain accurate records and billing information.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy policies and verify patient identity.
