Job summary

Johnson Bixby, a leading financial planning firm in Vancouver, WA, seeks an Equity Trader & Operations professional to support investment operations, research, portfolio analysis, and client reporting. You will help with implementation, rebalancing, performance monitoring, and maintaining accurate records in a collaborative team environment.

The role requires a detail-oriented, analytical mindset with experience in trading, investment tools, and Excel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of financial services experience, including trading responsibilities and proficiency with model portfolios and Eclipse.
At least 2 years of trading experience, with independence.
SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams (or within 6 months).
Proficiency with investment research tools (Eclipse Morningstar, YCharts) and portfolio management systems.
Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation, modeling, and analysis.
Foundational understanding of financial markets, instruments, and portfolio construction.
Ability to conduct investment analysis with limited supervision.
Commitment to risk management, compliance, and fiduciary responsibilities.
Ongoing engagement across asset classes and diversified portfolios.
Initiative in independent research and contributing insights to the team.
Maintain strict confidentiality of client data and company information.
Ability to interpret data to identify trends and insights.
Balance deadlines and responsibilities effectively.
Proactive in process improvements and workflow refinements.
Strong oral and written communication with clients and teammates.

Responsibilities

Support investment operations and portfolio management through trade execution, research, analysis, reporting, and account administration.
Assist with portfolio implementation and rebalancing and monitor performance.
Prepare investment and client reports and maintain accurate investment records.
Support client account operations including cashiering, maintenance, and reporting.
Contribute to process improvements and support investment committee preparations.
Help deliver a high-quality client experience and communications.
