Job summary

First Hawaiian Bank in Honolulu is seeking an Equity Trader and Analyst to join our Asset Management team. You will execute equity, ETF, and mutual fund trades as directed by Investment Officers and help develop asset allocation strategies within our trading system.

The role supports trade settlement, provides execution insights to managers, and contributes to compliance and analytics for the Institutional Advisory Services Division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with institutional advisory, trust, or private wealth management services.
• Working knowledge of applicable regulatory issues related to securities.
• Familiarity with current landscape of equity markets.

Responsibilities

• Execute equity, ETF, and mutual fund trades as directed by Investment Officers and other departments within the Wealth Management Group.
• Maintain and develop asset allocation strategies within the trading system to support portfolio management strategies.
• Provide support in resolving trade execution and settlement issues and offer execution-related insights to Investment Officers and Managers.
• Contribute to analytical and compliance functions that support the overall operations of the Asset Management Group.
