Job summary

Cantor Fitzgerald in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Equity Middle Office Analyst to support trade processing, settlements, and discrepancy resolution across domestic and international markets.

You will work closely with traders, sales teams, and counterparties, gain exposure to ETFs, options, ADRs, DMA and FX, and contribute to improving controls and operational risk while developing proficiency in Fidessa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Mathematics.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem solving.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholders.
• Interest in equity markets and financial operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; trading/operations platform experience a plus.

• Basic understanding of settlement cycles and market conventions.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with front-to-back trade processing, including breaks, allocations, and settlements.
• Collaborate with traders, sales, and counterparties to ensure accurate trade capture.
• Monitor daily equity, ETF, and options activity across markets.
• Support ADR conversions, preferred securities, DMA, and FX transactions.
• Participate in DTC/NSCC settlement processing with clearing teams.
• Gain exposure to corporate actions and their impact on positions.
• Contribute to process-improvement initiatives to boost efficiency.
• Provide ad-hoc analytical support to trading desks and management.
• Maintain documentation of workflows and exception handling.
• Develop proficiency in Fidessa and other trading/ops systems.
