SIG Susquehanna is seeking a Research Sales Associate in New York City. This role involves marketing the firm’s fundamental research product and managing relationships with institutional clients. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and strong communication and analytical skills, and will gain exposure to financial analysis and derivatives.
The position offers a competitive salary of $110,000 - $120,000, with a discretionary bonus and benefits. Candidates should be motivated and eager to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Our Equity Research Sales team markets Susquehanna’s fundamental research product and derivative content, providing our institutional clients with differentiated analysis and market intelligence. The Research Sales team is also responsible for the origination, development and management of the relationships within SFG’s institutional client base.
At Susquehanna, we place a high value on education and development, especially for our early career hires. During the first year of your onboarding process into Sales, you will learn about our equity research, options theory and implementation, client management and engagement, as well as all aspects of the capital markets. You will gain exposure to financial analysis and derivatives strategy that will allow you to effectively communicate Susquehanna’s product to our institutional clients. Research Sales Associates will also earn Series 7 and 63 licenses and will be encouraged to begin the CFA curriculum.
Susquehanna Financial Group, LLLP (SFG) delivers grass roots independent research coverage on a universe of roughly 250 stocks across five different industry verticals. We combine that with an in-depth understanding of listed options and market intelligence to provide a more comprehensive view of what is driving equity and derivative markets. We service the US institutional account base comprised of hedge funds, mutual funds, pension/endowment funds and family offices by impacting their investment process and helping enhance their performance.
The annual base pay range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 + discretionary bonus + benefits. Susquehanna considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, key skills, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
